LEGO Star Wars X-Wing (9493) - OK... I opened it :-)
I finally opened this set. The reason why I didn't open it when I bought it was I didn't like the way Lego built the X-Wing engines. Stickers suck. After years of modification experience, I knew one thing called "Google it!". I found many people did it like this (See photos below).
X-Wing looks much better with the new engines.
Let's take a closer look. Very simple and effective.
I modified the back a little bit.
Let's look at it side by side with two models of X-Wings.
Side by side with Poe's X-Wing (The model after 30 years)
Obviously, the new cockpit window is much better looking. I think I should change it later.

LEGO Star Wars X-Wing (9493) - Should I open it?
I bought Star Wars X-Wing (9493) set for years already. I found it in my garage when I was packing finished sets in boxes. Should I open it? Actually, I've never opened a single original trilogy X-Wing set that I have (including the Red Five UCS).

LEGO Brick Calendar (40172)
This Brick Calendar is pretty nice as a gift (I bought it for my wife). It doesn't have a fun building experience and cool structure but it's nice to look at it in your office desk. This set comes with one office guy in suit. Nothing special. I exchange it with a Mickey Mouse minifigure for my wife. The price (CAD 24.99) is reasonable, too. Strongly recommended.

LEGO MOC Tony Stark's Audi
I've been working (paused) on Stark's Audi for years. I think I should put a few more bricks to "complete" it and take a photo of this stage. When I have more time, I will come back to work on it again.

LEGO Star Wars Ghost (Minifighters) (75127)
I missed the release of Lego's Ghost from Rebels Series (animate). I didn't watch the cartoon until the Bluray release; therefore, I didn't buy the Ghost set with Phantom included. I think Lego will release it again very soon.
Today, I share the small Ghost version modified from Minifighters series. It's quite interesting to look at it side by side with Hotwheels version.

LEGO Star Wars: TIE Striker (75154)
Lego improved a lot in making TIE Fighters in the recent 3 years. The TIE Striker (75154) has the obvious improvement in making the round vehicle with bricks. The size of the set is unexpectedly big. However, it didn't have the play feature for bomb dropping part (See the design in the book of Rogue One Ultimate Guide). I don't find problem with this set, so no modification needed. Two thumbs up!
