Lego Star Wars TIE Silencer Modification 1: Lego Designers Hate Kylo Ren

Let's jump to the conclusion :-) I think Lego designers hate Kylo Ren so much. If not, they wouldn't build Ren's Shuttle and TIE Silencer badly. Yes, two times already.

Actual, Silencer's windshield part should be like the photo below. Lego's model was like a flat 2 x 4 red window. The original design was quite streamline. I believe there are lots of ways to fix the problem. I just changed it with a quick fix. At least, it looks much better from top view.

My quick fix. I may come back to rebuild it later.

Now, the top view is better

I think Lego's designers just hate working on Kylo Ren's vehicles.

Last time in The Force Awakens, Kylo Ren's shuttle was badly built at the front and the color was totally wrong (It should be black. Not dark grey). The wings were fixed. From the bright side, you might say... Lego designers gave consumers a chance to have fun on modification.

My little quick fix for the shuttle

I fixed the front and wings but I gave up on changing the whole thing into black.

LEGO Star Wars: Krennic's Imperial Shuttle (75156)

I have to say Lego's size design is very good. No matter how large that shuttle is in "reality", the Lego models must be at the similar size. Krennic's Imperial Shuttle is well designed and this time Lego doesn't mess up with the color (Not grey like Kylo Ren's). Of course, Lego will never make single color model as usual. The shuttle still has a lot of grey colors but it won't bother most of the people like what Kylo Ren's shuttle does.

This time, it has a nice landing gear, too.

LEGO Star Wars Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle MOC

Movie capture: It should be darker or black. The front windows should be in red.

The main fix is at the front.

I bought this set about a year ago before The Force Awakens arrived in cinema. Because of the bad design and wrong colors (my own opinion only). I left it new in box at my office's toilet. Recently, I took it out and started to change the front, wings, and color. I didn't spend time and money on changing it into black but taking away most of the light grey pieces.

The right way to make the wings to be V-Shape was adding some movable joints from AT-DP walkers but I'm not going to order those for it (lack of love with this set).
