LEGO Star Wars: Kessel Run Millennium Falcon (75212)
Han Solo: A Star Wars Story is coming. Lego's Kessel Run Millennium Falcon (75212) (I will call it Solo version) is now on shelf. In Canada, it is $199.99 which is $20 more expensive than The Force Awakens version (TFA version). The main difference is the extra escape pod (maybe something like Rebel Series' The Phantom attaching to The Ghost). Other than the white color, Solo version is almost 95% the same as TFA version in the structure. The cockpit position issue (too close to the front), the two front triangles' angle/size issue, lots of gaps between sectors, unfinished side docks, etc are not fixed. The white color makes the dark gaps more visible than TFA version (Mine is patched).
However, it is fun to modify as the older ones. I think Solo version Falcon will be another long project to play with.

Lego Star Wars Carbon Freeze Chamber MOC (2017 Progress)

Finally, I got the minifigures that I need for this mini scene. At the beginning, I didn't have Lando, Bespin Guard, and then his assistant, Lobot. I got Lando from the recent A-Wing set. Bespin Guard from 2106's Star Wars Christmas Calendar. Today, I found Lobot in the Twin-pod Cloud Car & Bespin (9678) at a used kids toy event locally.
It was hard to believe I could get all involved people in the iconic "I love you. I know." scene.

LEGO Star Wars A-Wing Starfighter (75175) - It's all about Lando Calrissian!

I think many people agree this small Lego set should be the most over-priced set in early 2017. It has 358 pieces but selling at CAN$50. Why?
History: Lego did the same trick as the old A-Wing set (75003) which included Han Solo minifigure. If you wanted a cheap Han Solo minifigure then 75003 was the best solution.
This time, 75175 includes the important minifigure... Lando Calrissian! The fact is Lando isn't in many recent sets. If you are building new Cloud City scenes in Bespin (such as Carbon Freezing Chamber scene), you will find you need an updated Lando minifigure.

This new set comes with 3 minifigires. That Rebel guy and the cart are just for making you feel better after paying $50. Actually, Lando costs you $10 at least in the set.
Let's compare the recent Lego A-Wings here.

Yes, the shape and the structure improved a lot. Great design.

Lando Calrissian minifigure is very very nice with the new soft cape. Worth $10? I think so.

OK... He is now witnessing Han Solo's capture (The scene is not finished yet).
