LEGO Star Wars Rogue One: K-2SO MOC (Stage 1)

I didn't even want to open this set before I saw someone (@nobu_tary) from Japan posted a MOC on his Twitter. The original Lego's design was quite bad in my personal opinion. I bought K-2SO's Black Series figure and Lego's is not as good as it. The inspiration from the Twitter post made me open the box and start putting things together from what I have in brick storage. At this stage, the legs are very weak and I will rebuild it later when I have more suitable parts. I will show you some updates very soon. Stay tuned.

Sad News: Our Princess Leia - Carrie Fisher Just Left Us

The greatest news in this holiday period (to me) was the death of Carrie Fisher. We just watched her CG young Princess Leia at the end of Rogue One. Today she just left all the Star Wars fans to a better place.

LEGO Star Wars: Krennic's Imperial Shuttle (75156)

I have to say Lego's size design is very good. No matter how large that shuttle is in "reality", the Lego models must be at the similar size. Krennic's Imperial Shuttle is well designed and this time Lego doesn't mess up with the color (Not grey like Kylo Ren's). Of course, Lego will never make single color model as usual. The shuttle still has a lot of grey colors but it won't bother most of the people like what Kylo Ren's shuttle does.

This time, it has a nice landing gear, too.

LEGO Ghostbusters Headquarter

After finishing the Ghostbusters Headquarter, I know why some people complained the structure. The design is smart but it made the house showing some gaps. GB fans should get one no matter what.

LEGO Star Wars MOC Emperor's Arrival (Update)

Small update done. I just saw Lepin will have the UCS Imperial Shuttle soon. I'm not sure if I should buy it and put it here.

LEGO Star Wars Imperial Assault Hovertank (75152)

Rogue One's release day is just 1 month to go. I bet this Hovertank should play an important role in the story. The cargo that the Hovertank carries should be important. My guess is lightsaber crystals which power the Death Star's laser cannon.

As expected, Lego doesn't give you a full scaled model (Unless it's UCS). From movie trailers, you can see the tank is a bit longer to hold 3 orange cargo. The roof of the tank is much smaller and the front slope is bigger. The worst thing is those fake hatches. Lego uses a black 2x2 round tile to be the hole of the hatch (LOL). Those Hovertank Toopers can't stay at the positions like what we see at the trailer.

The fix is very easy because of the simple structure.

LEGO Marvel Iron Man Malibu Mansion

This set is a very long time project. I have been building it slowly for almost 3 years. The top part is small but it costs me 3 sets of Lego Malibu Mansion sets.











I updated my collection at a stage.



This stage is the Party Protocol level. Still in progress.



It also acts as my "storage space".

Super Star Destroyer

Before Lego's Super Star Destroyer retired, I considered to get it for too long. When I decided to get it from Lego store, a staff told me that I was late for 14 days... Retired forever :-(

Then, I went to eBay at once and the price went up to $800 already (OMG). Then, I gave up.

I finally got a Super Star Destroyer now. It was from the evil Lepin (Knock off brand). No missing brick and no major problem. Just no numbered bags as usual. It took longer time to build.

LEGO Star Wars Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle MOC

The main fix is at the front.







I bought this set about a year ago before The Force Awakens arrived in cinema. Because of the bad design and wrong colors (my own opinion only). I left it new in box at my office's toilet. Recently, I took it out and started to change the front, wings, and color. I didn't spend time and money on changing it into black but taking away most of the light grey pieces.

The right way to make the wings to be V-Shape was adding some movable joints from AT-DP walkers but I'm not going to order those for it (lack of love with this set).

LEGO Mid-Size Millennium Falcon (From LeLe)

Now, it's hard to find this mid-size falcon in market unless you pay a lot at eBay. I'm glad that China brand LeLe made this again (but bricks are bad).

LEGO Ferris Wheel (10247)

Lego's Ferris Wheel is a very good addition to your Lego City. Although I don't have a city, I still like to look at it.

I ordered a battery box and a motor for it. At the same time, I just added some LED lights on. My wife loves this fun display at the living room

Batman Bat Pod UCS (From Decool)

I had no idea why Lego made this Bat Pod as a limited edition with only 750 units in this world. These 750 units were actually free from a big lucky draw around the world.

I joined and I didn't win. Before I had time to build it with ordering parts from Bricklink and Brickowl, China's Decool released this set at US$22. The quality of bricks and technic beams were not as good as Lepin. Very loose. However, the Bat Pod was for display only so it didn't bother most of the people, I think.

LEGO Star Wars Rey's Speeder Modification

I modified the front of Rey's speeder to a closer look as the Hot Wheel model. Actually, it was very simple but Lego just didn't want you to have something nicer at the price point. You could say that Lego left the fun for us to modify their sets.

I still need to update the "wings" under the speeder which are the ugly stud shooters. I don't like stud shooters a lot.

I closed this project as I think the legs are pretty nice to me.

LEGO Star Wars U-Wing Modification

VS Original Version



Final modification is done (Based on Hot Wheels and Black Series models).

The 4 white engines are longer and the grey part is shortened. Then the length of white and grey parts on the engine are the same.

The wings are lengthen 8 studs to match the ratio from models.

LEGO Star Wars AT-DP Modification

I ordered a few more joints for AT-DP modification and they arrived today. Although the hip joints are not nicely covered yet (showing the blue studs), I want to keep a record for this stage.

The modification is pretty simple at this stage. I don't want to change too much for now to see if I can get the AT-DP balanced. When I have more time, I will get back to this project.
